Origins

The American Chinchilla was breed developed in America the year of 1920 from First Chinchilla rabbits were imported from Europe in 1919. And 'born Chinchilla rabbits in France in the early 1900s, and are named for their resemblance to the fur Rat South America, Chinchilla. Rabbits Chinchilla developed using Himalayan, Beverens colored rabbit and wild agouti, and the first display of the French in 1913. Quickly becoming Chinchilla rabbit types of commercial success throughout Europe, not only because of their resemblance to pelt of fur Chinchilla, but also because mature coat faster than other rabbit breeds. Chinchilla arrived the United States in 1919 and quickly became a popular commercial. Some farmers have started selectively breeding chinchillas to increase their size, with the aim of producing a rabbit More profitable meat launching larger and much more. Chinchilla is best known originally as the Heavyweight Chinchilla, but in 1924 they were recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association as, larger breed separate and named Chinchilla America, with the original, small breed is distinguished as the standard chinchilla. The American Chinchilla substantially similar to all, but the size of standard Giant Chinchilla, Chinchilla not like most resembles a giant Flemish. The American Chinchilla virtually unknown outside of the United States and, with a decrease in the fur trade of meat, have become very rare (listed as critical by the American Livestock Breeds Consevancy).

Appearance

 The American chinchilla rabbits are big, heavy 4-5.5kg (9-12lbs). The American Chinchilla has a medium build, with a compact body, short neck and head with a fairly broad brief, leaf erect ears. The American Chinchilla has a very soft, dense coat straight hair, medium length. Chinchilla has coloring agouti, where the hair has a bandwidth of contrast color along its length. The background color (close to the skin), dark slate blue, the color of the middle band is Pearl and troubleshooting of gray hair. Black 'beat' (guard hair) unevely distributed over most of the body. Stomach, neck, pelvis and eye circles have beats pale, beads and ear mixed with black.

Colour
Chinchilla (slate blue / pearl / black Agouti pattern) Chinchilla colouring is also found in a number of other breeds. 

Temperament 
American Chinchilla rabbit docile, good nature and very gentle.
